Ms. Roohani obtained her B.S. from the University of Washington before completing law school at Seattle University School of Law where she graduated in 2019. While in law school Ms. Roohani interned with the King County Department of Public Defense and also worked with her law school's Youth Advocacy Clinic. Prior to joining our firm Ms. Roohani worked for the Snohomish County Public Defender Association.

Located at 230 South Second Street in Yakima, the firm was formed by Walter G. Meyer, Dennis L. Fluegge, and Robert C. Tenney with then-associates Mark D. Watson and Jerome R. Aiken. The firm now also includes as partners John A. Maxwell, Jr., Peter M. Ritchie, James C. Carmody, Sean M. Worley, and Jacob A. Lara, associates Kindra C. Crawford and Robert Sean Urlocker, Gary E. Lofland, of counsel, and a staff of eleven, many of whom have been with the firm since inception. Jerry Aiken recently successfully defended a significant shareholders derivative action. Plaintiff was alleging damages of approximately $10 million. The matter was vehemently litigated with significant motion practice. Plaintiff essentially gave up on the even of his pending deposition and a motion brought under Washington Civil Rule 56(g). In that motion Mr. Aiken was requesting an order that the Plaintiff be held in contempt of court for filing an affidavit in bad faith in response to a pending summary judgment motion.

Mr. Urlocker obtained his B.S. from Frostburg State University before completing law school at Gonzaga University School of Law where he graduated in 2020. While in law school Mr. Urlocker interned with the Unemployment Law Project and also worked as an extern at the Environmental Law Clinic where he provided legal services to non-profits that worked to protect rivers and streams of the Pacific Northwest.

Jerome Aiken successfully negotiated the resolution of a Washington Department of Health matter against a counselor. DOH agreed not to pursue formal charges.

Jerome Aiken and Peter Ritchie tried an emotionally charged case involving a mental health client who brutally murdered his grandmother. The children of the decedent brought a wrongful death lawsuit against the mental health providers and requested that the jury award several million dollars in damages. The jury returned a defense verdict after deliberating less than 3 hours.
