About Mr. Gauthier
Mr. Gauthier earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School, receiving a Certificate in Environmental, Energy, and Natural Resources law. While at Lewis & Clark, Mr. Gauthier was a member of Environmental Law from 2016-2017, and an Associate Editor from 2017-2018. He was also President of the American Constitution Society Student Chapter.
Prior to law school, Mr. Gauthier earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from James Madison College at Michigan State University. During his undergraduate studies he interned for the Office of Senator John Papageorge and was presented with a Declaration of Special Tribute for Outstanding Service.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his fianceé and two dogs. He also enjoys reading, camping, hiking, rafting, and watching hockey.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Meyer, Fluegge & Tenney, P.S., Mr. Gauthier clerked for Chief Judge Steve Dobrescu and Judge Gary Fairman of the Nevada Seventh Judicial District. After his clerkship, he was an associate attorney at a small firm in Portland, Oregon where he represented a city, and worked on water law and elections law cases.
