Walter G. Meyer
Mr. Meyer graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1964. Following graduation, he worked as a law clerk for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, for the United States Department of the Interior, and was in private practice in Seattle. He has practiced privately in Yakima since 1967, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has worked on a variety of State Bar projects, was chairman of the State Bar Rules Committee, and is a former member of the Judicial Council of the State of Washington. In 1991 he was appointed to the Eastern District of Washington Civil Justice Reform Advisory Group and also appointed as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference.
Dennis L. Fluegge
Mr. Fluegge graduated with honors from Willamette University College of Law in 1971. While there, he served on the Editorial Board of the Law Journal and was president of Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity. He is an active member of the Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations and has practiced in Yakima since 1972 following a deputy prosecuting attorney position in Oregon. He is a founding member and past president of the Washington Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and its 1997 Trial Lawyer of the Year. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has served as a Trustee for the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and has been listed in The Best Lawyers In America continuously since 1989. Mr. Fluegge has also listed as a top 4% "Superlawyer" since 2003 in the listings by Washington Law and Policitics. Mr. Fluegge attended the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law in June 2005, completing an eighteen-hour mediation course and is presently mediating civil cases as well as continuing to handle civil litigation. Robert C. Tenney
Mr. Tenney obtainined his J.D. degree Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound Law School (now Seattle University) in 1979 and has practiced in Yakima since then. He has been active in various State Bar Public Education and Continuing Legal Education programs. He is a past Trustee of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers, a member of Defense Research Institute and a Master in the American Inns of Court. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also actively involved in his community, having been a board member of the American Red Cross, the United Way, the United Way Foundations and the Yakima Planning Commission. He is also an elder in his church. Mr. Tenney is presently listed as a top "Superlawyer" in the 2007 listing by Washington Law and Policitics having first been listed in 2001. Mark D. Watson
Mr. Watson graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1984. He was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity and was an Associate Editor of the Oregon Law Review. He belongs to the Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations and has been in practice since 1984. He is also actively involved in his community, having participated in the United Way and served on the Board of Directors of the Central Washington Service Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Jerome R. Aiken
Mr. Aiken has been practicing in Yakima since 1984. Mr. Aiken received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University Summa Cum Laude and is a member of the scholastic honorary fraternity Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1984 and was honored by being selected as a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school Mr. Aiken was presented with American Jurisprudence awards in trust and estates and secured land transactions. John A. Maxwell, Jr.
Mr. Maxwell graduated from the University of Washington in 1984 with an undergraduate degree in economics. In 1987 he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound Law School (now Seattle University). He is a member of the Washington State and Federal Bar Associations. He is also authorized to practice in the Yakama Nations Tribal Court. Mr. Maxwell coaches youth ice hockey and inline hockey and has been a past board member and president of the Montessorri Society of Yakima. Mr. Maxwell contributed several short articles to Net Law: How Lawyers Use the Internet by Paul S. Jeffrey M. Kreutz
Mr. Kruetz was born in Cheyenne, WY, March 16, 1969 and admitted to the Washington Bar in 1997. As an undergraduate he attended Brigham Young University (B.A. 1994)and obtained his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law (J.D. 1997). Alfred G. Schweppe
Mr. Schweppe, a native Washingtonian, graduated from Seattle University in 1983 with a B.A. in Political Science. He served as a U.S. Army Armor Officer from 1984-1988. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University) in 1991. Following graduation, Mr. Schweppe worked as a congressional aide in the U.S. House of Representatives. He was a deputy prosecuting attorney in the Yakima County Prosecutor's Office from 1995-2001. He is a member of the Yakima County, Washington State, and American Bar Associations, and the American Inns of Court.
